How to stake USDe: Step-by-step guide

How to start staking with Ethena

Staking with Ethena in TON Space is very simple.

  1. Go to the TON Space tab in Wallet's main menu.
  2. This will redirect you to your non-custodial TON Space wallet. Tap “Earn” on this page and then select Ethena on the next screen.


  1. On the Ethena staking page, tap “Stake”.


  1. If this is your first time staking with Ethena, you will see a message prompting you to top up your USDe balance. Tap “Top Up”.


  1. Choose how to deposit USDe. You can transfer USDe from another external TON-blockchain wallet or directly via the Ethereum network. The easiest way is to swap the USDT that you have in your TON Space for USDe. Read more on how to swap USDT for USDe.


  1. Once you obtain USDe, you will see a dedicated Ethena USDe balance in your TON Space. Tap the “Earn” button again, then select Ethena. On the staking page, tap “Stake”.


  1. This will redirect you to the USDe stake page. Specify the amount of USDe you want to stake in the “You stake” field. Below, you can also see the estimated annual yield for the entered amount. Tap “Review stake”.

Important: The estimated yield is not guaranteed and may fluctuate depending on the protocol’s performance and overall market conditions.


  1. On the next page, you will see the details of your staking transaction — such as the current yield (APY) and the TON network fee. Review all terms — if you agree, tap “Confirm and Stake”.


  1. Wait for the transaction to complete. Recording the transaction on the blockchain usually takes a couple of minutes. Once the transfer is completed, you will see a confirmation message.


  1. Done! Now you will see the staked amount in USDe on the Ethena staking page.

How to swap USDT for USDe

To participate in Ethena staking, you need to top up your USDe balance. An easy way to do this is to swap the USDT coins that you have in your TON Space for USDe — by following these steps:

  1. On the Ethena staking page, tap “Stake”. If this is your first time staking with Ethena, you will see a message prompting you to top up your USDe balance. Tap “Top Up”.


  1. From the top-up options, choose Swap from USDT.


  1. This will redirect you to the USDT-to-USDe exchange page. In the “You swap” field, specify the amount of USDT that you want to convert to USDe for staking. The “You receive” field will show the amount of USDe you will get after the swap. Tap “Continue”.


  1. On the next page, review your transaction details — such as the current USDT/USDe rate, slippage (i.e. the maximum acceptable rate deviation), and the swap fee. If you agree to all terms, tap “Confirm and Swap”.
  2. Wait for the swap to complete. Recording the transaction on the blockchain usually takes a couple of minutes. Once completed, you will see a confirmation message.


How to complete verification for Bonus APY

To earn additional rewards in TON, you need to pass verification via the TON ID app and receive a corresponding badge. Here’s how to do that:

  1. Add USDe to Ethena staking.
  2. After that, tap “Check eligibility” on the Ethena staking page.


  1. This will redirect you to the third-party TON ID mini-app. If you are launching this app for the first time, you will need to review and agree to the related Terms of Use.
  2. It is necessary that you link your non-custodial TON Space wallet to TON ID. Tap “Choose Wallet to Get Badge” and select the desired wallet from the list, or connect a new one by tapping “Connect New Wallet”.


  1. When connecting a new wallet to TON ID, you will be asked to confirm the connection. Read more about connecting to third-party apps in this article.


  1. After selecting a wallet, tap “Get Badge”.


  1. Done! The badge will be issued within 24 hours after you receive the confirmation message. Only after getting a TON ID badge will you be eligible for TON rewards at the Bonus APY rate.
