Jettons

What is a Jetton

Jettons are tokens that are supported on the TON blockchain. Unlike NFTs, Jettons are fungible.

Is BTC a Jetton

BTC is not a Jetton, since it is not a part of the TON blockchain. BTC is the native token of the Bitcoin blockchain.

Only custodial Crypto Wallet supports BTC. It is not possible to send BTC from your Crypto Wallet to your non-custodial TON Wallet address.

Where can I see my Jettons

Jettons that you own will show up in the Tokens section of your TON Wallet.

Example: Jettons (USDT (TON) and Notcoin) in the list of Tokens on the main page.

What data is available on the token page

The token page provides relevant and up-to-date information to help you evaluate an asset before interacting with it. You can view the price chart as well as a range of important metrics for token analysis.

To assess a token, you can use the following information:

  • Market Capitalization — the total value of the token, calculated based on its current price and the number of tokens in circulation.
  • Total Supply — the maximum possible or planned number of tokens that can be issued, including locked tokens.
  • Holders — the number of unique wallets that own the token.
  • Liquidity — the amount of funds available for buying and selling the token.
  • Listing Date — the date when the token first became available for trading.
  • 24-Hour Trading Activity — the total trading volume of the token over the past 24 hours, including the amount bought and sold.

This information will help you better analyze price trends before investing or trading.

Note: Asset prices and market data is sourced from DYOR.io and provided for informational purposes only. Always do your own research and carefully assess the risks before participating in any DeFi projects.

How can I send Jettons

Jettons can be sent to other TON addresses from your TON Wallet. Tap 'Send' from within your TON Wallet, choose the desired Jetton, insert a receiving address, and confirm the transfer.

⚠️ Note: At the moment, custodial Crypto Wallet supports a limited number of Jettons. If you send unsupported Jettons to your Crypto Wallet, they will be lost. Read more

Can I send jettons to Crypto Wallet

Custodial Crypto Wallet only supports the following tokens on the TON network:

  • Notcoin (NOT)
  • DOGS
  • Hamster Kombat (HMSTR)
  • X
  • MAJOR
  • CATI
  • USDT (TON)

You can safely send these tokens from TON Wallet to Crypto Wallet.

USDT (TON) can be stored in the Dollar Balance and used just like USDT (TRC-20).

❗️Other tokens and NFTs are not supported.

If you send unsupported assets to the custodial Crypto Wallet address:

  • they will not appear in your account
  • they may be permanently lost.

Keep in mind that transfers are on-chain, and network fees apply. Please also refer to the Crypto Wallet's User Agreement.

Is there a cost to send Jettons

If you are sending Jettons to a different TON-blockchain address, there will be a network fee.

Token balance not showing correctly

TON Wallet is a non-custodial wallet that shows data directly from the blockchain.

Sometimes, token balances or prices may be delayed or appear differently than expected. This is usually due to temporary load on Tonviewer, the source TON Wallet uses for blockchain data.

In most cases, the display updates automatically — try checking your balance again a bit later.

I am not able to withdraw jettons from TON Wallet. I receive an error “You don’t have enough TON to pay for transfer fee”

Every blockchain transaction requires a network fee for sending a transfer. All transfers in the TON blockchain pay a commission in TON, regardless of what is being transferred. For example, if you transfer Notcoin, you still need some TON to pay the network fee.

To ensure successful transfers of jettons, you need at least 1.05 TON in your TON Wallet for the network fee.

If you don’t have enough TON in your balance, you can top up your TON Wallet in the following ways:

What does a label “The community does not have information regarding this jetton” next to a jetton in TON Wallet mean

This label indicates that the jetton is not whitelisted by the community.

This notice may appear in two cases:

  • The jetton was recently created and has not yet been reviewed.
  • The jetton lacks verified value or there is no information confirming its reliability.

Before interacting with such jettons:

  • Conduct your own research (DYOR — Do Your Own Research).
  • Exercise caution: such jettons may be illiquid, fraudulent or temporary.

If you are the jetton creator:

You can apply for your jetton to be whitelisted after completing the required verification process. To do so, use the official application form.

Will the fee that was charged for the failed jetton swap in TON Wallet be refunded

No, it won’t be possible to refund a transaction fee. Since the exchange in TON Wallet takes place via blockchain, a small network fee in TON is charged for such transactions.

Network fee is taken to maintain the blockchain operations and execute transfers. As with other transactions that occur on the blockchain, they are irreversible and the fees cannot be refunded.

Unable to swap jettons

An error when swapping jettons may occur in the following cases:

  • The token is not yet fully supported in the TON Wallet interface;
  • The token has a non-standard implementation, which may cause technical limitations during the swap.

Such jettons might not appear in the swap list or may fail to complete transactions.

If swapping doesn’t work, try using the token in another way — for example, by transferring it to another address.

Unverified jettons

If you received non-original USDT (for example, shown as $USDT), these tokens are not supported by TON Wallet and won’t appear in your balance. You can check their status in a blockchain explorer.

They:

  • have no real value
  • cannot be swapped
  • cannot be used for transfers or fee payments.

Such jettons are often created to mislead users. They cannot be recovered.

Please be careful: always check token authenticity before interacting with it.

Genuine USDT on the TON network appears in TON Wallet directly under Toncoin. These can be safely stored, transferred, and exchanged.
