Jettons

What is a Jetton

Jettons are tokens that are supported on the TON blockchain. Unlike NFTs, Jettons are fungible.

Is BTC or USDT a Jetton

BTC and USDT are not Jettons, and they are not a part of the TON blockchain. BTC is the native token of the Bitcoin blockchain. USDT is a token on the TRON blockchain, and is referred to as USDT (TRC20). Only your custodial Wallet supports BTC and USDT.

Neither BTC nor USDT from your Custodial wallet can be sent to your TON Space.

Where can I see my Jettons

Jettons that you own will show up in the Tokens section of your TON Space.

jUSDT, a Jetton, is shown in the list of Tokens on the main page.

How can I send Jettons

Jettons can be sent to other TON addresses from your TON Space. You can hit 'Send' from within your TON Space, insert a receiving TON address, and confirm the transfer.

⚠️ Note: If you send Jettons to your custodial Wallet address, they will be lost, as it is not supported.

Is there a cost to send Jettons

If you are sending Jettons to a different TON address, there will be a network fee.

I am not able to withdraw jettons from TON Space. I receive an error “You don’t have enough TON to pay for transfer fee”. What should I do

Every blockchain transaction requires a network fee for sending a transfer. All transfers in the TON blockchain pay a commission in TON, regardless of what is being transferred. For example, if you transfer Notcoin, you still need some TON to pay the network fee.

To ensure successful transfers of jettons from TON Space, you need at least 1.05 TON in your TON Space wallet for the network fee.

If you don’t have enough TON in your balance, you can top up your TON Space in the following ways:

I see a label next to a jetton in TON Space - “The community does not have information regarding this jetton”. What does this mean

This means that the jetton hasn’t been whitelisted yet. If you want to whitelist the jetton, you need to apply for a jetton check.

A jetton swap in TON Space was not successful, but there was a commission charge. Will it be refunded

No, it won’t be possible to refund a transaction fee. Since the exchange in TON Space takes place via blockchain, a small network fee in TON is charged for such transactions.

Network fee is taken to maintain the blockchain operations and execute transfers. As with other transactions that occur on the blockchain, they are irreversible and the fees cannot be refunded.
