The purchase is made through a third-party partner — the Mercuryo service. It’s a simple and fast way to top up your Toncoin balance in TON Wallet.

How does buying with a card in TON Wallet work

1. On the TON token page in TON Wallet, click ‘Buy’.
2. Enter your email to register with the third-party partner providing the service, review their terms of service and limitations, and click ‘Get Code’.
3. Enter the amount and payment details on the partner's page.
4. Complete verification on the partner’s side.

Which tokens can be bought with a card in TON Wallet

At the moment, only Toncoin can be bought with a bank card through a third-party partner.

Is verification (KYC) required

TON Wallet is a non-custodial wallet that does not require verification. However, in order to fund your TON Wallet, you need to verify your account with Mercuryo. You can learn how to complete verification on the partner’s side here.

Are there regional restrictions for card purchases in TON Wallet

According to the Terms of Use, TON Wallet is not available in certain countries. You can check the list of countries where TON Wallet is not available here.

It’s also important to note that the third-party partner providing the card purchase service in TON Wallet has its own terms of use and may have its own requirements. Depending on these, purchasing cryptocurrency may be unavailable in your region and/or territory.

What data is shared with Mercuryo

Only the crypto wallet address required for the deposit is shared. The email and KYC (identity verification) data are entered directly by the user in the provider’s widget and are not shared with or by us.

Why is verification required on the payment page

The third-party partner providing the cryptocurrency purchase service by bank card has its own requirements for completing payments.

Identity verification is one of these requirements. Usually, the process takes no more than 5 minutes. To complete it, prepare the documents requested by the partner and follow the on-screen instructions.
