Ads

Who is a maker, and who is a taker

When trading on the P2P Market, you can be one of two roles: maker or taker.

Maker — creates the ad

A maker is a user who places an ad to buy or sell cryptocurrency.
They set:

  • The desired exchange rate.
  • Supported payment methods.
  • If necessary, additional conditions that do not contradict the P2P Market's Terms of Use.

Such ads are visible to other users in the list of ads.
To become a maker, you need to fill in all the ad terms and activate it — only after that does the ad go live.

Taker — responds to the ad

A taker is a user who creates an order by selecting an ad already placed by someone else.
Creating the order means agreeing to the conditions specified in the maker's ad: the exchange rate, payment method, limits, etc.

Simply put:

Maker — offers the terms.

Taker — accepts them and creates the order.

How do I start trading

To start trading, you need to top up your account in your chosen cryptocurrency, if you wish to sell crypto on the P2P Market. If you want to sell crypto on your own conditions, you also need to add these assets to the balance of your P2P advertisement.

If you wish to buy crypto on the P2P Market, you can start trading right away without depositing to your Wallet.

Follow this instruction if you want to sell cryptocurrency, and this one – if you want to buy cryptocurrency.

What is an ad

P2P Market users have the opportunity to trade digital assets on their own terms, for this purpose the platform provides an opportunity to create Ads for sale and purchase. The user has to fill in the parameters of the ad when creating it and publish it.

Guide to creating your own ad

Go to P2P Market > Create Ad.

Please note that, for the safety of all participants on the P2P Market, the functionality to place ads to buy cryptocurrency is not available right away. It depends on many criteria, so at first, we recommend buying cryptocurrency from the ads available in the list (the order book of the P2P Market). Over time, creating purchase ads will become available automatically.

In the ‘I want to’ field, select:

  • Buy — if you want to purchase cryptocurrency with fiat.
  • Sell — if you already have cryptocurrency on your balance and want to receive fiat for it.

You can learn about topping up your balance here.

Select the currencies:

  • Specify the cryptocurrency you want (USDT, BTC, TON, etc.)
  • Choose the fiat currency to exchange (RUB, KZT, etc.).

Choose a payment method:

On the next step, select a convenient payment method — it can be a:

  • Banking app (for example, Sberbank, T-Bank),
  • E-wallet (for example, ЮMoney).

Publish your ad and start receiving orders from takers.

What are fixed and floating ad prices

At this step of creating an ad on the P2P Market, you need to choose the price type.

Fixed price

The price remains constant and does not change according to market fluctuations.

You specify a specific amount per unit of cryptocurrency — it will be displayed in the ad until you manually change it.

Floating price

The price automatically updates based on the market.
You can set a percentage deviation from the current market price — and the system will regularly adjust the price in your ad.

Restrictions:

The price range in the ad (for any type) must be within 90% to 120% of the current market price.

What limits may apply to an ad

In the ‘Volume’ section, you are required to enter the amount of cryptocurrency you plan to sell or buy.

Please note that the minimum limits for crypto assets are: 3 TON, 0.0002 BTC, 10 USDT, 1500 NOT, 0.005 ETH.

Limits may differ for each currency; you can check the applied limits on the ad creation screen.

What do the min and max order amounts mean

When creating an ad on the P2P Market, you need to specify the minimum and/or maximum order amount, i.e. the sum in fiat currency within which counterparties can open an order based on your ad.

Example:

If you set limits from 700 to 1,000 RUB, then:

  • No one will be able to open an order for less than 700 RUB or more than 1,000 RUB.
  • All orders will be conducted only within this amount range.

Features of limit settings:

  • Minimum limit — is mandatory. Its value may depend on the currency and current platform rules. You will see the minimum allowed amount on the ad creation screen.
  • Maximum limit — is optional. You can:

    - Leave the field empty, and the system will automatically set the maximum limit to the entire available sum for the ad.

    - Specify a value that is higher than the minimum limit (there are no upper restrictions).

Setting limits helps you manage the volume of orders and avoid transactions that are too small or, on the contrary, too large.

Can I make my ad invisible to a group of users

When creating an ad on the P2P Market, you can choose exactly who will be able to see it — this helps you filter potential counterparties based on their experience and reliability.

You can set filters based on user rating and number of completed orders, and your ad won’t be shown to users who don’t meet the criteria.

How to set it up:

  • Tap 'Create Ad' on the P2P Market page
  • Choose the 'Who can see this ad' option and set your preferred requirements for complete orders and user rating.
  • After that, your ad will only be visible to users who match your criteria.

Please note: stricter conditions may result in fewer deals on the P2P Market.

Can I restrict a specific user from responding to my ads

Currently, this feature is not available, but you have the choice to not confirm the orders of certain users if you would prefer not to trade with them (unless you have set incoming orders to auto-accept, which you can read more about below).

What is “Payment Timeout”

Payment timeout is the time period set by the seller (for Sell ads) or the buyer (for Buy ads), during which the buyer must transfer the specified amount to the seller’s account.

Available timeout options include 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours and 3 hours.

Note: Users are generally more likely to respond to ads with shorter payment timeouts.

You can also enable an additional setting — rounding the order amount. When this option is active, the system will automatically round the final amount down (removing cents), to make it a whole number. For example, it would round an order of €20.08 down to a flat €20.

How to accept P2P orders automatically

To simplify and speed up your trading process, you can enable the ‘Auto-Accept Orders’ option when creating an ad. Ads with this feature are marked with a lightning icon ⚡.

When enabled, orders are accepted automatically without manual confirmation, allowing you to:

  • Respond instantly to incoming order requests
  • Get more orders due to faster response time

When is Auto-Accept active?

  • As long as you're on the P2P Market screen, new orders are accepted automatically
  • If you leave the P2P Market, auto-accept will remain active for another 10 minutes
  • To reactivate it, simply return to the P2P Market page

Important: Canceling an order that was auto-accepted can negatively affect your rating. Only enable auto-accept when you’re confident you can complete orders on time.

What to do if my ad is created but not showing in the list of ads on the P2P Market

If you’ve created an ad but don’t see it in the P2P Market ads list, there could be several reasons. Here’s a step-by-step checklist to review the reason:

  1. Is your ad active (are trades enabled)?

Your ad might be published but inactive — in this case, it won’t appear in the list.

What to do:

  • Find the ad in the section ‘My Ads.
  • Make sure the 'Trades' switch is turned on.
  • If the ‘Trades’ switch is off, turn it on.
  • Then refresh the P2P Market page — tap the three dots in the top-right corner and select 'Reload Page'.

  1. Your ad also may be hidden due to filters in the list

What to check:

  • Make sure you haven’t enabled any filters for amount, currency, or payment method that could exclude your ad from the list of results. For example, check the 'Verification' filter:
  • If you have the 'Trusted Merchant' filter enabled, ads from users without the Trusted Merchant status will be hidden.
