Wallet, where to start

What is Wallet

Wallet is a fast and convenient service to operate with cryptocurrency.

With Wallet, you can buy, sell, and exchange cryptocurrency, as well as send TON and USDT directly via Telegram chats. We do not take any fees for such transfers since they are made between Telegram-users.

Wallet supports multicheques, allowing you to send cryptocurrency to multiple users in your Telegram channel simultaneously, attracting a new audience.

If you want to buy or sell cryptocurrency at your own price, then please visit our P2P Market.

How can I create a wallet address or add an existing one

It is super easy to create your Wallet. You just need to launch the application and follow the instructions on the screen.

You can check your Wallet address for a required crypto in the main menu using Add CryptoExternal Wallet and choosing the crypto. After this, you will see the wallet address and QR code.

Can I generate a new wallet address

You cannot change your wallet address in Wallet after creation.

I already have a wallet. How can I add it to Wallet

Wallet uses custodial storage. Therefore, you can neither add your own wallet to the service nor add your Wallet address to other services.

However, if you create a non-custodial wallet in TON Space, you can import it into another TON wallet, such as Tonkeeper. More information about TON Space can be found here

You also can transfer all your funds into one wallet, if you would like to merge the balances of your wallets.

What is the difference between Wallet and TON Space

Wallet and TON Space are two different wallets within the TON ecosystem. Wallet operates as a custodial service provider, whereas TON Space serves as a non-custodial wallet. Here are the main differences between them:

A custodial wallet is a service where the private keys (keys to access the wallet) are stored by the service. Examples of custodial wallets include centralized or private exchanges. This enables the service to offer unique features such as swaps, commission-free transfers, promotions, security settings, and more.

A non-custodial wallet grants users full control over their crypto assets, stored on their blockchain address. Only users have control over the private keys. Access to wallet and security control via Seed phrase are the main features of using non-custodial wallets. This provides users with bigger opportunities in ensuring the safety of their crypto assets, but also entails bigger responsibility.

With Wallet, you can easily purchase crypto by card, use the P2P Market and swap cryptos, such as TON, USDT and BTC.

TON Space gives you the opportunity to send and receive any Jettons and NFTs minted on TON, swap them and connect to decentralized applications (DApps).

You can read about TON Space and how to use it here.

How can I change the language and the local currency in the bot

Wallet's interface is available in 13 languages.

You can change the language via Settings in the upper right corner → Wallet Language.

Moreover, you can also change the local currency that shows the fiat equivalent of the cryptocurrency via Settings → Default Currency.

How can I add Wallet to the Telegram settings and the paperclip menu

Wallet will prompt you to add the application to the Telegram menu when you first launch it.

If you haven’t added it earlier, you can always do it via Settings by tapping on the three dots in the upper right corner. Tap “Add Shortcut” so that the app is available via the clip and in the Telegram settings.

All done! Now you can easily and quickly send TON and USDT to your contacts in Telegram. Wallet also provides you with an option of exchanging one type of coin to another.

Moreover, now you can buy TON, USDT, and BTC with your bank card.

If you wish to buy cryptocurrency without any fees or sell one for your own price, then you can visit P2P Market. You can choose the most convenient payment method for you and find a price for your liking.

Where can I see my balance and transaction history

You can check your wallet balance in the main menu of the app. The total balance of all your assets is displayed at the top of the screen. The balance of an individual cryptocurrency can be seen by tapping on the required asset.

Your account's Transaction history is available at the bottom of the main menu screen.

Why can't I see some operations I've performed in Wallet in the blockchain

Internal transfers between Wallet's users are not recorded in the blockchain, as they are managed in Wallet itself. That is why you can send and receive crypto instantly and without any fees. At the same time, external transactions can be seen in the blockchain.

Does Wallet support NFT and tokens

Wallet doesn't support NFT and jettons yet. Therefore, if you send one to your wallet, it will not appear there. You can read more on NFTs/Jettons in Wallet here.

You can create or add your existing TON wallet in TON Space, where you can store and use TON jettons and NFTs.

Wallet doesn't work on my device, what is the issue

Make sure your device meets the required system specifications, and both your operating system and Telegram are up-to-date.

Wallet may not open on devices with OS versions older than iOS 14 and Android 9. Additionally, Wallet does not support unofficial third-party and Linux Telegram clients.

My device meets the necessary system requirements, and Telegram is updated to the latest version, but the problem remains, what should I do?

If the issue persists, try clearing the WebView cache:

  • On an Android device, go to the device's application settings and click on Android System WebView → 'Clear cache'.
  • On an iOS device, open Telegram and tap 'Settings' 10 times in the lower right corner, then select 'Clear Web View Cache'.

If the recommendations above do not resolve the issue, please contact us. Kindly provide the model and OS version of your device, along with the Telegram and WebView versions.
