What is Hamster Kombat? What is the Hamster Kombat token (HMSTR)

Hamster Kombat is a popular Tap-to-Earn game on Telegram with over 250 million players. Hamster Kombat is an independent mini app with no affiliation to the Wallet team.

HMSTR is the official cryptocurrency of the Hamster Kombat project and a jetton in the TON blockchain. Now HMSTR is also available in Wallet.

Are Wallet and Hamster Kombat affiliated

No, Wallet and Hamster Kombat are not affiliated. The Hamster Kombat Bot simply allowed you to connect a TON wallet to their mini app in order to participate in giveaways and promotions from the Hamster Kombat team.

How do I get HMSTR

If you participated in the HMSTR airdrop, you had the option to send your balance from the Hamster Kombat app to Wallet. This option was available starting from the 13th to 21th of September. 

If you didn’t participate in the airdrop, you are still able to purchase HMSTR from other users via the P2P Market (in the Wallet), as well as with a bank card.

I sent HMSTR to my Wallet, but my Wallet balance hasn’t changed

Withdrawals of HMSTR to Wallet were available only until September 21. The HMSTR jettons have been successfully distributed among those clients who managed to select Wallet for HMSTR claim. The HMSTR distribution process has already finished, and all the jettons have been credited to user balances.

If you selected 'On-chain airdrop' or 'Direct claim' for HMSTR withdrawal, and the transaction was successfully processed, it means that the coins were sent to a non-custodial wallet address that you previously linked to Hamster Kombat.

If you withdrew HMSTR after September 26, and the transaction was successfully sent from Hamster Kombat, you would receive tokens to a non-custodial TON Space wallet. Read more on the differences between Wallet and TON Space.

Step 1. Open the Wallet app. On the main page (where the list of cryptocurrencies is displayed) you should be able to see TON Space Beta. If you are unable to locate it, go to Settings (⚙️ at the top left) and turn 'Display TON Space' on. 

Step 2. Open TON Space and tap on 'Show hidden tokens' to view the received HMSTR tokens. 


It’s possible you previously created a different address (for example, by using a different device) and used it for HMSTR withdrawal. You can try logging in to the correct TON Space address. To do this, log out of the current TON Space wallet by following the instructions. You will then have the option to either create a new address by clicking on 'Create TON Space' or log in to the correct wallet using the instructions.


It’s also likely that HMSTR haven’t been credited to your balance after September 21, since you were not eligible for token claim. Learn more

Do I need to pass KYC to add HMSTR to my Wallet

You could apply to receive HMSTR to Wallet until September 21, currently this option is closed, and it will not be possible to pass verification and confirm the request.

Since HMSTR operates in the TON blockchain, you will need to use a TON address for deposit. 

Use your TON wallet address only for performing operations with TON, USDT (TON), NOT, DOGS, and HMSTR. Depositing other assets might lead to their loss. Learn more

Which address to choose when depositing HMSTR

You need to use a TON network address to deposit HMSTR. To see the required address:

1. Select ‘Hamster Kombat’ in Wallet’s main menu.

2. Tap the “Receive” button.

3. After that, your HMSTR deposit address, along with a QR code, will be displayed. Copy this address and paste it into the "receiving address" field of the exchange or wallet from where you intend to send HMSTR. Alternatively, you can use your device's camera to scan the QR code.

Can I buy and sell HMSTR

Yes, you have the option to buy and sell HMSTR on the P2P Market.

Yes, you are able to exchange HMSTR for other assets.

You can convert your HMSTR jettons to another cryptocurrency supported by Wallet, such as Bitcoin, Toncoin, USDT, Notcoin, or DOGS. Likewise, you can exchange other cryptocurrencies in your Wallet for HMSTR, using the applicable exchange rate.

Yes, you will be able to send HMSTR to other Telegram users free of charge once it becomes available in Wallet.

How to withdraw HMSTR from Wallet

You can check the instructions on how to withdraw funds from Wallet here.

Before withdrawal, please ensure that the service that hosts the recipient’s wallet supports HMSTR and the TON blockchain, since HMSTR is a jetton belonging to the TON ecosystem.

Note: If you send HMSTR to an exchange, you also need to indicate a memo/comment before sending, otherwise you risk losing your funds. This is a requirement of exchanges to be able to identify your transfer on their side. The required memo can be found in your profile on a specific exchange. You need to specify it in the ‘Comment, tag or memo’ field when confirming your withdrawal in Wallet.

Can I send HMSTR to my TON Space wallet

Yes, since HMSTR is a jetton in the TON blockchain, you have the option to send it to your non-custodial TON Space wallet from your HMSTR balance in Wallet.

Is there a cost to send HMSTR via TON Space

Yes, when sending HMSTR to a different TON wallet via TON Space, there is a network fee in TON.

How can I withdraw HMSTR from Hamster Kombat app to Wallet

The withdrawal of HMSTR to Wallet was available only from September 13 to 21.

The option to withdraw HMSTR to non-custodial wallets was available until November 9.

Earlier I tried to connect Wallet to Hamster Kombat but got the error message “Unable to Link Wallet”. What should I do



If you received this notification, you were not able to withdraw HMSTR to Wallet as you did not pass the verification successfully. You had to choose another option for HMSTR withdrawal before November 9.

If you did not manage to choose another withdrawal option before November 9, then you will not be able to withdraw your HMSTR from the Hamster Kombat app anymore. Read more.

I want to withdraw HMSTR from @hamster_kombat_bot to TON Space. Can I connect TON Space to Hamster Kombat

At the moment, it is not possible to connect TON Space to @hamster_kombat_bot.

The option to withdraw from @hamster_kombat_bot to TON Space was available only until November 9.

If you did not do this before November 9, it is no longer possible to withdraw HMSTR from the Hamster Kombat app. Read more.

I am trying to connect my TON Space to Hamster Kombat but do not see any option for it

I withdrew HMSTR to TON Space, but haven’t received my tokens yet

Check whether the transfer record from the Hamster Kombat bot to TON Space is successful in the blockchain. To do this, input your address, where you wish to receive HMSTR, and check if the deposit is present in a blockchain explorer, for instance, TONScan.

If the transaction still does not appear in the blockchain, contact the HMSTR support chat - they will be able to provide details on your withdrawal.

I accidentally created a TON Space account when choosing a wallet in Hamster Kombat. I don’t need it anymore; how can I delete it

TON Space is a non-custodial wallet in the TON blockchain, and it is not possible to delete anything from a blockchain forever.

With TON Space you can take part in various promotions within the TON ecosystem or participate in Fragment auctions and obtain anonymous phone numbers, nicknames, and Telegram ads.

If you do not need the TON Space wallet indeed, you can remove it from your Wallet account by following the instructions.

We recommend that you save your Secret Recovery Phrase, so that you could access TON Space again at any time. You can also turn on the email recovery — in this case you will always be able to log in to TON Space from the linked Telegram account — no need to input 24 words every time. I played Hamster Kombat before the listing, but don't see any coins in @hamster_kombat_bot

If you played Hamster Kombat but received no coins, it could be that you didn’t meet Hamster Kombat's criteria to receive HMSTR.
